Why are we afraid to be photographed?
The whole thing is a little deeper. We are not afraid of the camera as such, but of the fact that it can see us for real.
Standing in front of the lens, we admit to the whole world that right now, at this second, we are what we are.⠀We may like it if the photographer was able to cling to something that we like. Or it can be repulsive if the photographer saw something that we don’t want to admit to ourselves. Two things are very important here: ⠀
🚩 Our acceptance of ourselves. Understanding your place in the world. Calm inside. The joy of being who we are.⠀
🚩 Photographer. And his competence is in the ability to understand the pain and rejection of a person. To show us our best side.⠀
Both are not easy.
Both require work.
Both are bearing fruit! ⚡️ ⠀
Photography is like a guide inside ourselves. Regardless of which side of the camera we are on.⠀
If you’ve been thinking for a long time about how interesting it would be to look at yourself from the outside, now is the time! 📸
